From May 1, 2025, Ryanair will tighten its boarding rules: if a passenger with luggage is late to the check-in counter and arrives later than 30 minutes before departure, they will not be allowed on board.
To fly, you will have to make a new reservation and pay a fine of €100.
We remind you: you must arrive at the boarding gate no later than 30 minutes before departure, the boarding gate itself closes 20 minutes before departure.
Online check-in is still free.
Check-in at the airport is paid, €55.
And from November 3, 2025, Ryanair will completely abandon paper boarding passes - only digital tickets are allowed.
