Many of the coastal residents still don't know that Burgas has a very large and interesting zoo for such a small town.
The Burgas Zoo is located near the "Black Sea" quarter. It is home to more than 60 species of animals, for which conditions have been created that are close to their real habitat. Among them are white polar wolves, kangaroos, platinum foxes, parrots and many other animals, but the most important thing in the Burgas Zoo is the peacocks, there are about 29 species and this is the largest "collection" of peacocks in Europe! The area of the zoo is about 35 hectares. A very nice place for a family holiday.
